National Immunization Support Project (NISP) and Aga Khan University (AKU), with funding support from World Bank and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation conducted Third-Party Verification Immunization Coverage Survey (TPVICS).

 This survey independently verified and ascertain in a transparent manner, the validity of the data reported, by the provinces, and districts, on immunization coverage in Pakistan. AKU has partnered with Trust for Vaccines & Immunization (TVI) to conduct this survey in selected 10 (Ten) Districts of Baluchistan. 

 A Cross-Sectional Survey Design has been chosen to collect data to achieve the objectives of this survey. Cross-sectional surveys provide a snapshot of the prevalence and attributes in specific population. 

The survey assessed the vaccination status of children 11-23 months of age at the time of the survey for each vaccine dose recommended by the Government of Pakistan (GOP). During the project various activities were conducted which includes Mapping, Line Listing and Data Collection.
