Improving access to primary healthcare for refugee women and children using health emergency and disaster risk management framework during pandemic
The study will assess the following statuses of vulnerable population of interest with refugee status or displaced due to humanitarian crisis:
- MNCH indicators and barriers to access MNCH-related PHC services
- Strategies are in place to grant continuity of MNCH-related PHC services in a humanitarian crisis
- New strategy to be implemented to ensure continuity of MNCH-related PHC services.
Mixed-method study approach’ using both quantitative and qualitative methods will be applied to assess barriers to access MNCH-related PHC services during pandemic. The research will respond directly to evidence needs emergent by practitioners or policymakers who are responding to the health crisis.
