Evidence generation related to stunting prevention through multispectral approaches couples with appropriate complementary practices in Pishin, Balochistan
It was a formative study and baseline survey which provided information about the acceptability of the program, identification of potential barriers, socio economic and nutrition related indicators for the implementation of intervention program. Spot hemoglobin (Hb) test was measure to estimate the anemia rates among the target population.
A formative research component was planned to collect qualitative data with wide scoped and exploratory with the intended utility of informing program design and process monitoring. Hence it will particularly look into the acceptability of program and identification of potential barriers. FGDs were conducted with participants from villages in the proposed intervention areas.
